A classic among organic olive oils, Quattrociocchi BIO Classico reflects the olive-oil culture of central Italy. Made from organically grown Moraiolo, Leccino and Frantoio olives, it comes from the hills around Alatri in Lazio, a region with a long olive-oil tradition. The source describes hand harvesting and immediate cold pressing in the estate mill. The result is a balanced, medium-intensity oil with a green-gold colour. The nose has grassy, vegetal notes followed by green almond and artichoke. On the palate it is fruity, lightly peppery and pleasantly bitter.
