About Endrizzi

Endrizzi wines – Gran Masetto and Masetto Nero

Endrizzi wines are closely associated with Teroldego, interpreted here in a style with an international outlook. The San Michele all'Adige estate's most popular wine is Endrizzi Masetto Nero. This northern Italian red can be seen as a local take on a Bolgheri Superiore, with the indigenous Teroldego playing an important part in the composition. Masetto Nero combines Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Teroldego from the municipality of San Michele all'Adige. It is described as combining soft tannins with ageing potential of more than ten years.

Endrizzi Gran Masetto from the Masetto vineyard

Its elder sibling is a premium cru: a pure Teroldego from the Masetto single vineyard. Made using an Amarone-style process, with the berries dried for three months, Endrizzi Gran Masetto is a structured red with depth, complexity and concentration.

Endrizzi Gran Masetto in the Trentino range

Endrizzi Gran Masetto has received favourable coverage from wine critics and magazines. It is presented as a terroir-led wine whose depth and structure have helped draw attention to Trentino–South Tyrol.
